With views of the south and the west, this lovely room boasts one of our favorite pictures of the historic Pt Cabrillo Light Station. An adorable sitting area gives guests just enough room to plan the day’s activities.

With two queen sized beds and views of the hot tub and the yard and ocean beyond, this room is a gem. Point Cabrillo and Russian Gulch share a full bath with double vanities and pocket doors separating the shower and toilet from the main vanity.

For guests who need a little extra room, we can offer an additional mother-in-law unit with a curated sitting area, a king size bed, sweeping views of the landscaped property and the ocean beyond. We affectionately refer to this unit as Basking Lizard because the warm sun heats it up like a solarium. Separated by pocket doors, the unit also has an extra futon and a private full bathroom.

More than just a vacation home.

Mendocino Sunrise is more than just a vacation home – it's your home away from home and your base camp for exploring all that California’s North Coast has to offer. From Point Arena to Point Cabrillo, from Jenner and the Russian River all the way to Russian Gulch, and from wine country in Napa and Sonoma with those big jammy Zins to the light, crisp Anderson Valley Pinots, there is a bounty to be discovered. And at the end of the day, you can watch the sun sink into the ocean (or an occasional fog bank).
